Among the pathology methods autopsy is also a valuable tool in evaluating diagnostic accuracy in oncology. Malignancies are undiagnosed due to the lack of some laboratory investigations, the absence of specific symptoms of cancers and the delayed treatment of them. The aim is to analyze the reasons and the structure of undiagnosed malignancies in order to review the failure of their detection during the person’s life and the hyper diagnosis of tumours in some hospitals of Riga (Latvia) in adults and children.Downloads
