The subject of this paper is topical as many European and global events are organised by a specific country with participants who are both young and older people from many countries. Also Estonia as a small country has had the opportunity not only to participate in but also to be the main organiser of many such events and host visitors from other countries besides our own people and to show them Estonia, our culture and activities.
The objective ofthis paper is to describe the impact of events of cultural and environmental policy which have been held in Estonia on the whole complex of economic policy and to bring some examples on such an impact both in Estonia and outside, both in the closer and more distant countries.
