Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts are accepted for consideration with the understanding that their contents have not been published elsewhere. Manuscripts are read through by the editor and by two reviewers in blind review process, which takes 6 weeks. Articles and abstracts must be in English, the journal's official language. Original scientific papers, case studies and review articles are considered. Any manuscript should not ordinarily exceed 25 pages.

The manuscripts should be arranged as following: Title page, Abstract, Main Text, Acknowledgements, References, Tables and Figures.

 

The title page:

  • Title of the article in capital letters, 14-point letters in Bold.
  • The full name(s) of author(s), 12-point letters in Bold.
  • The affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s).
  • The e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author.

 

Abstract page:

  • Please provide an abstract to 200 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. Do not use structured abstract.
  • Please provide 4 to 6 keywords

 

Main Text:

  • Manuscript should be submitted in MS Word.
  • The text should contain the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion (12-point Times New Roman in Bold).
  • Use a normal, plain font (preferably 12-point Times New Roman with double line spacing) for text.
  • Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.
  • Materials and Methods contain the following sections: Subjects, Procedures, Statistical analysis (Section headings 12-point Times New Roman in Italic).
  • Please always use internationally accepted signs and symbols for units, SI units.
  • Means and standard deviations/standard errors should be presented as Mean±SD, Mean±SE, with no spaces before or after ±.

 

Acnowledgement(s):

  • Provide information sufficient to identify sources of support, technical assistance, and intellectual contributions not associated with authorship.

 

References:

  • References should be cited in the text by number in parentheses and compiled alphabetically at the end of the article and numbered accordingly.
  • Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work:

Tables and Figures:

  • Tables and Figures should be referred to in text as follows: Figure 1, Table 1.
  • The place at which a table or figure is to be inserted in the printed text should be indicated clearly in a manuscript.
  • All tables and figures are to be numbered using Arabic numerals.
  • Tables and figures must be cited in text in consecutive numerical order.
  • Tables should be presented on separate sheets at the end of the manuscript (after reference list).
  • For each table, please supply a table caption (title) explaining the components of the table.
  • In tables Means and Standard deviations /standard errors should be presented as Mean±SD or Mean±SE (not Mean=..., SD=...).
  • Each figure should be submitted separately.
  • Legends for the Figures should be submitted on a separate sheet.

The journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.
