Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. The journal accepts submissions at the email address: ken.ird@ut.ee.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal ("Articles", "Collections"), the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end and provided with a heading.
  • Together with the article, the following author information will be submitted: name, academic degree, position or field of activity.

Author Guidelines

Recommended length of the peer-reviewed article is 25,000-35,000 characters (incl. spaces).

References must be provided as footnotes, not endnotes. Archive references must include the name and date of the document; online references must also include the date. SettingsWhere available, URLs for the references have been provided.

SettingsEach article must include a short summary in English (resp. Estonian, approx. 3,000 characters) presenting the aim of the article and its main findings.

CITATION

NB! A full footnote is given only at the first time, after that only a shortened form is used. All the examples are given both in full and in a shortened form.
