About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Founded in 1996, Interlitteraria is the annual peer-reviewed journal of the Chair of Comparative Literature of Tartu University and the Estonian Association of Comparative Literature. Interlitteraria publishes original articles in English, French, German and Spanish, in the field of comparative literature. Preference is given to papers that focus on intercultural contexts of literary phenomena. Interlitteraria also publishes translations into the above-mentioned languages of articles which have earlier appeared in other (less widely-known) languages.

The maximum length of an article is 6000 words. Interlitteraria's issues are both monographic (e. g. gathering articles based on the papers of the EACL international conferences) and free topic (enabling the journal to develop a variety of themes). Annually, a volume in two fascicles is published. The annual deadline for manuscript submission is January 31.

The journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.

Januar jeden Jahres.
