Author Biography

Marko Pajević, University of London; University of Tartu / Londoni Ülikool; Tartu Ülikool

Marko Pajević is currently Visiting Bithell Fellow at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, for a project on climate engineering, as well as Visiting Professor of Poetic Thinking at the University of Tartu, Estonia. He has published widely on poetics and developed a poetological anthropology with his notion of poetic thinking, on which he has published two monographs, as well as books on Paul Celan and Franz Kafka. In recent years, he has worked on the notion of the abyss in cultural theory and on the political dimensions of literature, with edited volumes on multilingualism and the political, as well as on biopolitics.

 

Marko Pajević on Londoni Ülikooli School of Advanced Study Bithelli stipendiaat kliimatehnoloogia projektis ning poeetilise mõtlemise külalisprofessor Tartu Ülikoolis. Ta on avaldanud palju uurimusi poeetikast ja arendanud oma poeetilise mõtlemise mõistega välja poetoloogilise antropoloogia, mille kohta on avaldanud kaks monograafiat, samuti raamatuid Paul Celani ja Franz Kafka kohta. Viimastel aastatel on tema uurimisteemaks olnud kuristiku mõiste kultuuriteoorias ja kirjanduse poliitilised mõõtmed, ta on toimetanud raamatuid mitmekeelsusest ja poliitilisest ning biopoliitikast.
