Learning theories relevant to science teaching

Teos pakub terviklikku käsitlust, mis koondab erinevaid teoreetilisi vaatenurki ja näitab, kuidas iga teooria võib pakkuda tõhusaid teadmisi loodusteaduste õpetamise strateegiate ja õppekavade koostamiseks ning õppetöös kasutamiseks. Siin tutvustatakse 30 loodusteaduste õpetamisel olulist õpiteooriat. Teooriad on koondatud peamiste psühholoogiliste ja haridusteaduslike traditsioonide kaupa – humanistlikud, biheivioristlikud, kognitivistlikud, konstruktivistlikud – ning lisatud on ka vaimsetel ja oskuspõhistel lähenemistel põhinevad teooriad.
