Call for papers

We are inviting submissions for the special issue of Estonian Journal of Education (Eesti Haridusteaduste Ajakiri), Vol. 13, No. 2, which is scheduled to be published in November 2025. The special issue will focus on promoting early mother tongue and second language instruction. The editors of the issue are Professor of Primary Education Krista Uibu (University of Tartu), Professor of Estonian Language Reili Argus (Tallinn University) and Associate Professor of Estonian as Foreign Language Mare Kitsnik (Narva College, University of Tartu).

 The aims of the Eesti Haridusteaduste Ajakiri. Estonian Journal of Education are  to ensure sustainability of Estonian educational science, to develop terminology in the Estonian language and to support the growth of internationally established Estonian scientists. The journal welcomes both empirical research and review articles in the field of education and related areas. In addition, translated articles of international interest from acknowledged experts in the field will be published. 

The journal will be published twice a year (in May and November). Both free and special issues will be published, while every third is a free issue. The first issue launched in November, 2013.
